We are frequently contacted by doctoral students
and research faculty who have heard about organic inquiry, or have bought our book An Organic Inquiry Primer
for the Novice Researcher: A Sacred Approach to Disciplined Knowing.
We love knowing where the methodology is being used, what
types of projects are being designed with it, and what kinds of topics and questions are being pursued.
Due to the volume of contact, it has become necessary to limit
our interactions in the following ways. We hope one of these avenues for communication and consultation will work for
you.

Academic Consultation: Pre-IRB
Review
Because Organic Inquiry is a relatively new and avant garde methodology, some institutional
review boards have stumbled over various aspects of OI study designs. While there are never any guarantees about what
will and won't be challenged by your IRB, we offer students the opportunity to have our experienced eyes catch the potential
problems, thus increasing the chance of smoother, swifter, sailing through the approval process.
Our flat fee-based review is normally completed
for you within 4 days and includes (1) identification of potential trouble spots;
(2) recommendations for phrasing changes on points that concern IRBs; (3)
critique of issues that probably won't get past your IRB without a lot of hassle;
(4) suggestions for re-thinking essential risks in your design and how to pre-emptively
handle those with your IRB. Cost for our review is $100. To check on our availability to do a review at this time,
