the services of allied health providers? Do you naturally think in terms
of building mutually beneficial strategic alliances?
Are your ideal clients also the ideal clients of a specific type of non-competing
business? Do you have a good understanding of how your services will benefit
the clients, patients, or customers of other businesses? Can you talk in terms of results you can help those clients
achieve that reflects well on the other business or helps their goals, too?
If yes, you may have a natural strength in developing professional referral sources.

Strength 3
Are you an innate
teacher who enjoys leading a workshop? Do you enjoy facilitating a group discussion? Do
you have a good sense of timing, and ability to get your points across succintly, using concrete examples that others can
apply, and inviting questions that easily lead you into promoting your services?
Does the logistical
work of scheduling signature talks appeal to you? Might you enjoy finding presentation sites, dealing
with facilities managers or group hosts, creating presentation materials such as handouts or PowerPoint slide shows?
If yes, making presentations
could be a natural strength and good marketing modality for you.

Strength 4
Do you enjoy producing
written products? Do you have skill with the written word? Is it easy for you to write short articles for free
publications? Do you already have brief special reports that might be used as give-aways? Could you serialized a set of topics or instructions for an autoresponder mini-course or ezine?
Do you have newspaper or desktop publishing experience with which you can easily design a website by using
a WYSIWYG web editor tool? Does this kind of activity satisfy a creative urge?
If yes, you may have a
natural strength in the areas of marketing that call for copywriting.

Remember that you need to connect with your ideal client who has a specific problem and
who frequents particular people and places as you determine the ways and places you will use these skills.

beliefs about "appropriateness" and other self-defeating energy killers.
5. Realize whose voice it is giving you negative messages
about money, success, your work, being deserving, being different and standing out from the crowd, etc.
6. Examine your fear of success, the changes it would
bring to your life, and the resistance you have to those changes.
